In the prehistoric ages of the internet (Summer, 2002!!!), way before Flash could support much in the way of game programming, Tom Fulp and Dan Paladin created the cult classic Alien Hominid. Based on their childhood memories of side-scrolling, action-packed, arcade shooters, they wanted to recreate something better than all those luscious memories. The game rocketed to the top of the Newgrounds’ charts and was “borrowed” all over the internet (argh, matey!).

We believed Alien Hominid could restart the 2D genre, which was as good as dead on the PlayStation 2. Thus, in 2003, we created a company called the Behemoth to realize our game-making destiny and to enable aliens everywhere to take over the earth.
So go see the movie Prometheus, where things are sure to blow up, and then download our game on Xbox LIVE Arcade and go blow up some more stuff because it is exciting. (And AH is one of the hardest video games ever made, but more about that later!)
The original Alien Hominid was made available on Nintendo GameCube, PlayStation 2, Xbox and Game Boy Advance. Now Alien Hominid HD is now out worldwide on the Xbox LIVE Arcade.
